Tuesday: Judgement Day

Why is everyone so worried about the end of the world? I don't see why people are so scared of something that will probably never happen. And if it does than a whole bunch of people will be prepared for it to happen. Like on all those tv. shows they have out about people preparing for the end of the world with all the food and other suppiles they'll need to survive for a couple months or like a year.
